We are part of movement

Faith plays a vital role in our world. More than 85 percent of the world religious and faith leaders are the most trusted in many places. We work with people of all faith and non, because we believe God can work through all people to achieve His purses. We cannot achieve our mission on our work; we seek to collaborate with a wide spectrum of partners, supporters and others to transform the lives of children, families and communities.

Shaped by our faith and experience of the world, we see that most people share common values of compassion, love and mercy and are willing to partner in changing children’s lives.

So, we ignite and joint movements for child well- being, mobilizing all people including churches, as well as other faith leaders, secular institutions and government actors.

Compelled by our belief and experiences we respond

Our calling as a Christian humanitarian organization, to serve the most vulnerable children, bring s our staff into some of the most difficult political and physical environments in the world. It is in this place that we seek to see lives transformed by Jesus Christ as He works through our lives, deeds, words, and signs. We believe through hope, restoration and renewal is possible even in the most difficult places, which is why we work through relief, development and advocacy approaches in contexts where the most vulnerable children struggle to survive.

Faith is the heart of everything we do

Our Christian faith leads us to believe every person is created in God’s image and deserves life in all its fullness. In our work around the world, we see children being kept from reaching their full potential. We see injustice, inequality, corruption and disasters affecting the lives and future of children in every context. We show our experience of the unconditional love of Jesus Christ in our work. We are called to be witnesses and serve as a reflection of God’s unconditional love.

Our strategy in Action

We have found our voice as a global Christian organization, speaking to the highest level of power with humility and amplifying the voices of those we serve.

We are seen as a credible, strong Christian partner, capable of galvanizing a diverse mix of faith actors in support of collective action for children.

We are going further by:

  • Developing and scaling evidence – based models that tackle the spiritual roots of poverty, vulnerability, and injustice.
  • Acting as connectors by mobilizing Christians, the church. And the other faith leaders to address the spiritual causes of poverty and injustice.
  • Continuing to become more externally oriented, taking hold of opportunities to mobilize the Christian church to demonstrate God’s unconditional love for children.
  • Demonstrating the value of our faith by helping to eradicate fear in communities through our house hold food security program.
